The Opportunity

You learn. You earn.
You get credentialed. You own.

Start with one short course, measured in weeks — and begin real, paid, supervised work as soon as you're trained for it. Then, if you want more, the pathway runs all the way to the EA credential and a practice of your own.

The roadmap

The journey

Four phases over seven levels. Paid work is not currently operating at any phase and is not guaranteed.

Phase I · Level 1

Work-ready training

Work-ready U.S. bookkeeping training. First paid tasks are not currently operating and are not a short-course outcome.

Phase II · Levels 2–4

Become an EA

The courses ARE the EA exam syllabus.

Phase III · Levels 5–6

Specialize

Specialist-niche curriculum. Annual repeat clients are not currently operating and are not guaranteed.

Phase IV · Level 7

Own

Later-stage ownership curriculum. Your own practice, clients, and brand are not currently operating and are not guaranteed.

An entry point

Start with one short course

No multi-year commitment to begin. Each entry course runs a few weeks. Paid work is not currently operating and is not a short-course outcome.

Work-Ready

About three weeks.

Opens document, intake and data support work.

Nonresident Ready

About four weeks.

Opens 8843 season and ITIN assembly support.

US Books

About five weeks.

Opens monthly bookkeeping retainers — recurring work.

If later offered, work would be assigned as it becomes available and reviewed before it reached a client. Live work is not currently operating. Volume is not guaranteed.

Train as you progress

Every level opens the next training stage

Training uses real workflows under review. Live client files, if later offered, are gated separately and are not currently a live student pipeline.

During your first short course

Support training begins

Training: document collection and verification · intake workpapers · EIN application support · data operations. Fluency in Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, Tagalog or Hindi is useful in class. Not live client assignment.

From your bookkeeping courses

Your first recurring-work training

Bookkeeping training covers monthly close support and setup for new businesses. Recurring retainers, if later offered, are gated and not a typical-earnings claim.

With your PTIN · Level 2

Return training begins

Training: supervised individual-return workpapers · 8843 season drills · W-8 series preparation · ITIN assembly under a supervising CAA. Not live filings.

Level 3

Business training opens

Training: business-return workpapers · 1099-season drills · entity-formation sequences · payroll and sales-tax registration workpapers. Not live client work.

Level 4

Practice work — then the exam

Transcript monitoring subscriptions · IRS notice triage · then you sit the Special Enrollment Examination, which you've been studying for all along.

After your EA · Levels 5–6

Premium specialist curriculum

Training: CWA packets · 1042-S reconciliation · expat/FBAR · FIRPTA · foreign-owned company and trust workpapers. Recurring live clients are not a current student offering.

Level 7

Independent practice is later

Your own clients, engagements, and brand are not a day-one outcome and are not currently a student offering.

The pathway to EA

The curriculum is the exam.

Most EA courses are exam prep bolted onto your day job. At XCAPE, the curriculum IS the exam. Every return you support and every season you work is study with income attached. By Level 4, you've prepared for the exam by doing the job.

Level 2 · IndividualsSEE Part 1
Level 3 · BusinessesSEE Part 2
Level 4 · RepresentationSEE Part 3

An Enrolled Agent is a federally licensed tax practitioner with unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS — no degree prerequisite, no U.S. residency required.

Phase IV · Level 7

Own

Level 7 opens three doors.

Launch-your-practice curriculum

Entity, systems, and pricing as training. Completing it is not a live first-client pipeline.

White-label tools (later study)

Curriculum covers running a book inside shared infrastructure. That is not currently a live student offering.

Later study of partner-firm workflows

Curriculum covers how Australian, New Zealand and US firms staff support work. That is not currently a live student placement.

Every rung is a career. Not everyone wants to run a firm — and not everyone needs the EA. Stop at Level 2 or 3 with recurring bookkeeping retainers and seasonal return work, and you have a career. Climb further whenever you're ready. Every level is a destination, not just a step.

A career that fits your life

A career that fits your life

This work is remote, supervised from Brisbane, and seasonal by nature. That shape is the point.

Work from where you live

Cohorts and supervision run on your time zone — not America's night shift.

Real off-seasons

Tax work has a rhythm: intense seasons, then genuine breathing room. The off-season is yours — travel, family, your other projects.

Build a profession without leaving home, a job, or the people who need you.

Demand

Who pays for this work

Academy training files

Supervised-practice curriculum uses reviewed workpapers. Live Advisory engagements are not currently a student pipeline.

Partner-firm workflows

Training covers how firms route templated support work. That is not currently a live student assignment stream.

Seasonal training calendar

The curriculum follows annual demand rhythms. Quarterly live work is not currently operating.
